About Katie

My name is Katie Moyer Laucks. I have been doing hair for 10 years. I attended Red Lion Senior High School. After graduating, I attended Empire Beauty School and earned my cosmetology license. I have worked in salons in York and Red Lion. I live in Red Lion with my husband, Jeremy, and our three dogs. I have worked with many color and product lines and have continued my education through classes in creative cutting, color, and men’s styling as well as business. I love to work with color and cutting. My passion is creative and corrective color. I also specialize in updo’s, facial waxing, and children’s hair cuts. In December of 2009, along with Kristen, I opened Clarity Salon. I am still very excited about our adventure and am excited to continue adding to our business. I look forward to serving you very soon!

About Kristen

My name is Kristen McWilliams. I graduated from Red Lion High School in 2003. I then attended cosmetology school at Empire Beauty School and graduated in May of 2004 with high honors in cutting and coloring techniques. I apprenticed at a barber shop for a week to further my men’s haircutting skills.

I worked at a local salon for my first 5 years as a stylist. During that time I attended many Matrix, Sexy Hair, Bioelements and Farouk classes that focused on the latest cutting, coloring, and skin care techniques.

I have been blessed with the ability and passion for doing hair and my goal is always to make my clients look and feel their best. I absolutely love what I do and strive to continue learning all I can to better myself as a stylist.

In addition to having my dream career, I also am a youth leader and worship team member at my church’s youth program, Wildfire. My husband, Jonah, and I love working with high school aged students. Not only do we love teaching them about the word of God, they challenge us to continue growing in our own faith.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jonah, for 10 years and we have three beautiful boys together. Luke is 7, Collin is 5, and Owen is 2. My family brightens my day and we thoroughly enjoy spending time together.

About Brooke

My name is Brooke McCallum. I have been doing hair for 9 years. I attended beauty school at the York County School of Technology. I just at Clarity Salon in September of 2010 and I love it here! I am excited to bring some new services like acrylic nails. I also love to do highlights and color! My husband, John, and I have been married for 5 years. We have a 3 year old daughter named Autumn and another 1 year old daughter named Avelyn. I am looking forward to serving you soon!

About Erin

My name is Erin McClernon. I have been doing hair for 5 years. I attended York Suburban Senior High School. After graduating, I attended Empire Beauty School and earned my cosmetology license and then attended The Barber Styling Institute. I have worked in salons in York and Red Lion. I live in Red Lion with my boyfriend, Jesse, and our dog Remmi. I have worked with many color and product lines such as Matrix, Wella, Redken, L’Anza, Sexy Hair and Moroccanoil. I am continuing my education through classes in creative cutting, color, and men’s styling as well as business . My passion is creative color and men’s cuts. I also specialize in updo’s, facial waxing, and children’s haircuts. I joined the salon in Septmeber 2011. I am very excited about my journey with this team and to continue adding to my business. I look forward to serving you very soon!

About Kellie

My name is Kellie Knisely, and I have been doing hair for about 2 years. I have been with Clarity Salon since the spring of 2011. I am also a receptionist as well as a stylist. My favorite services we offer are haircolor, haircutting, gelish and natural manicures. I’ve worked with Matrix and Wella color, as well as their products. I have completed continuing education in trendy cut, color, and updos, as well as business. I attend church at Pleasant View Church, and I am very involved with the Youth (Wildfire) and the Junior High (Ignite) groups. I also am on the video team at church. I love to travel, I have traveled to the country of Honduras twice now with my church. We do mission work when we are down there. We help with the Bible School’s for the Honduran children. I also love to read any kinds of books, run, and walk my dog Ginger.

About Karen

I’ve seen a lot of styles come and go since I became a cosmetologist over 20 years ago. I attend education classes throughout the year to keep up with the changes and latest styles. I enjoy making my customers look and feel their best whether it’s with a perm, a splash of color, that special cut, or well groomed nails. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter who is such a blessing to me.

About Alicia

My name is Alicia Dobbeck.  I have been a hairstylist for the past 6 years.  When I’m not at the salon, I’m typically at home with my family or running my children and step-children between sporting events.  Come visit me soon!

About Pam

Hi, my name is Pam McDonald. I’ve been in the business for 31 years, so my experience and knowledge with hair can accommodate the classic styles as well as the new and upcoming styles. I can take you back to 1984 or bring you up to date! When I’m not here doing what I love, I’m enjoying my family, especially my five wonderful grandchildren.

About Jill

Jill VanDusen, LMT, is our Clarity Massage Therapist.  She is nationally certified and licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.  Jill is a 2011 graduate of Baltimore School of Massage, a 1985 graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and a 1980 graduate from York Central High School.  Having lived in metropolitan New Jersey for 10 years and in the state of Texas for 10 years, she returned home to PA in 2001 and worked as a manager for a local florist for 9 years.
